A 4471 kb fragment of the mouse telomerase reverse transcriptase (Tert) gene was used to drive expression of GFP in the construct. The construct was electroporated into J1 ES cells that were screened and selected for GFP expression. Transgenic mice were generated by standard methods from ES cells showing transgene expression. Lines 14 and 22 were analyzed extensively and demonstrated similar GFP expression patterns. Detailed analysis for line 22 was presented. (J:139017, J:169663)
