Exons 6, 7, and 8 were replaced with an IRES GFP and a floxed neomycin resistance gene. The selection cassette was subsequently removed by cre mediated recombination. This removes the four "malignant brain tumor" domains. Western blot analysis demonstrated that no protein product was produced. (J:169112)
