A 3.6 KB fragment of the Trpv5 promoter was used to drive expression of EGFP in this construct. The vector was microinjected into male pronuclei of B6D2F2 zygotes. Seven founders were generated. A line that showed high EGFP expression in renal late distal convoluted tubules (DCT2s), connecting tubules (CNTs), and the initial part of the cortical collecting duct (iCCD) was chosen for further analysis.
