A floxed PGK-neomycin selection cassette in reverse orientation was inserted in intron 1 and a third loxP site was placed in intron 3. The selection cassette was subsequently removed from properly targeted mice by crossing to transgenic mice carrying Tg(EIIa-cre)C5379Lmgd. (J:167543)
