A cre-polyA cassette was inserted by homologous recombination into 5' UTR of exon 1 of the Dkk3 gene contained in the BAC clone RP23-12M6. The purified fragment was injected into fertilized one-cell oocytes from B6C3F1 mice. Line D9 was characterized and used further. (J:125324)
