These mice were created using MICER targeting vectors. Prmt2 was targeted using a vector selected from the 3' HPRT library and the Col6a1 locus in cis was targeted using a vector selected from the 5' HPRT library. Mice carrying this construct were crossed with Tg(CMV-cre)1Ipc transgenic mice. Cre expression results in excision of a 0.5 MB segment of chromosome 10 containing 13 genes, 9 withknown functions.
