A puromycin selection cassette, a loxP site and the 3'portion of HPRT were inserted between exons 7 and 8. This allele exists only in cis with two other loxP insertions on chromosome 10 (Cstb and Cpl6a1). These alleles were constructed for the purpose of making targeted deletions. (J:167506)
