A loxP and FRT-flanked neo cassette were inserted upstream of Mir212 and an additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon Mir132. Cre-mediated recombination removed both microRNA sequences, 3 CREB-binding sites, and an RE1-silencing transcription factor (REST)-binding site. (J:166596)
