These mice were created using MICER targeting vectors. Prmt2 was targeted using a vector selected from the 3' HPRT library and the Cstb locus in cis was targeted using a vector selected from the 5' HPRT library. Mice carrying this construct were crossed with Tg(Zp3-cre)93Knw transgenic mice. Cre expression occurs during oogenesis in female mice from this cross and results in excision of a 2.2 MB segment of chromosome 10 containing 47 known genes. (J:167505)
