A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and a second loxP site followed by an FRT flanked hygromycin thymidine kinase cassette were inserted downstream of exon 14 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the hygromycin thymidine kinase cassette. (J:167157)
