The AflII-XmaIII fragment of a human mineralocorticoid receptor cDNA (accession number NM_000901) from position 203 to 3198, including the full-length coding sequence, was blunt-ended and inserted into the EcoRV site located between the tetO promoter and the rabbit beta-globin polyadenylation sequence of the bidirectional tet-inducible pBI4 vector resulting in the tetO-hMR construct. Two founder lines were studied; in addition to line L1, line L2 was also produced. (J:112171)
