Exon 9 was replaced with one in which nucleotide substitutions (TCT-to-GCC) resulting in the amino acid substitution of serine with alanine at position 312 (p.S312A). A loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette inserted downstream of the modified exon 9 was removed by Cre-mediated recombination. (J:166152)
