A 1 kb XhoI-BglII fragment (Pdx1) of the Pdx1 gene fused to the Hsp68 minimal promoter was used to drive expression of a cre recombinase expression cassette. Four founders were generated that displayed similar cre-mediated recombination when crossed to reporter (R26R) mice. (J:72023, J:122333)
