A BAC containing the Sv2a gene was modified by recombineering methods so that cDNA for cre/ERT2 replaced the BAC sequence between 78 bp upstream and 496 bp downstream of the ATG start codon. The construct was injected into oocytes to generate transgenic mice. Line numbers were not specified in the original reference. (J:165805)
