A floxed pgk-neo cassette replaced the pre microRNA sequence located in intron 16 of Srebf2. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Western blot and RT-PCR analysis confirmed that deletion of the microRNA did not disrupt splicing or expression of Srebf2. (J:165420)
