A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 2 and a floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 3. Cre mediated recombination removed exon 2, exon 3, and the neo cassette. The expression of a truncated protein was confirmed by western blot analysis on embryonic fibroblasts. The truncated protein lacks 150 amino acids of the N-terminus without affecting expression levels or protein interaction with Smarca4 (Brg1). (J:164526)
