Intron 1 was replaced with the corresponding human intron 1 with a G in position 309. A floxed neo cassette was also inserted into intron 3 and then removed via Cre mediated recombination. RT-PCR analysis indicated higher levels of RNA expression in spleens and thymi from homozygous mice relative to wild-type mice. (J:164201)
