A targeting vector containing sequence encoding RFP-R (Red Fluorescent Protein) and a floxed and FRT-site flanked Kan/Neo selection cassette was used to disrupt exon 1. Red fluorescence is detected in ovaries from heterozygous female embryos (E15.5) and testis tissue of male heterozygous embryos. (J:163983)
