Exons 3 and 4 of Slco1a5 were replaced with floxed neo cassette while exon 4 in Slco1b2 was replaced with a Pgk-thymidine kinase and floxed Pgk-hygro cassette. Cre mediated recombination remove the intervening sequence (including Gm5724, Slco1a4, Slco1a1, Gm6614, and Slco1a6). The absence of transcript expression was confirmed by RT-PCR on liver, kidney, and small intestine extracts. (J:163765)
