This transgene contains promoter and enhancer sequences of the human apolipoprotein E gene driving expression of a 1.2 kb human acyl-CoA:diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) cDNA. Mice from founder line 29 exhibit overexpression of DGAT2 mRNA/protein specifically in the liver. (J:94077, J:124005)
