The mutation, in exon 1 of the gene, has been identified as a T to A transversion at nucleotide position 241 of the cDNA sequence (ENSMUST00000103424). It is predicted to result in replacement of isoleucine by lysine at amino acid 74 of the protein (I74K). (J:104190)
