A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 8 and an frt flanked neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 8. This exon contains the Srf binding site. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving exon 8 floxed. (J:161853)
