A floxed neo resistance cassette was inserted within intron 1 on the BAC RP23-163J20. E2F binding site 1, TTTCgcgC, was mutated to TTTCaaaC and E2F binding site 2, TTTgtcGC, was mutated to TTTaaaGC. This BAC was then introduced by homologous recombination. The selection cassette was removed by cre mediated recombination. (J:161509)
