A floxed neo resistance cassette was inserted within intron 1 on the BAC RP23-163J20. E2F binding site 2, TTTgtcGC, was mutated to TTTaaaGC. This BAC was then introduced by homologous recombination. The selection cassette was removed by cre mediated recombination. (J:161509)
