Hoxc8^{tm2.1(cre)Mrc}

A fragment consisting of cre recombinase preceded by an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) and followed by an FRT-neo-FRT cassette was inserted into the 3' UTR of exon 2 of Hoxc8. The neomycin cassette was subsequently removed by breeding with FLPe deleter animals. (J:162102)
