Intron 6 was replaced with a lacZ cassette with a 5' loxP site and a 3' polyadenylation sequence, an frt flanked neo cassette, and a 3' loxP site. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis. (J:160285)
