The coding regions of exon 2 and 3 were replaced with a floxed STOP cassette, human cDNA of a fusion between TCF3 and HLF, IRES-EGFP, and SV40 polyadenylation sequence. The fusion was identified in patients with t(17;19) B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Cre mediated removal of the floxed STOP cassette is required to obtain expression of the fusion cDNA.
