A single loxP site was inserted into intron 2 and an frt-flanked neomycin/kanamycin selection cassette with a second loxP site was inserted into intron 6. The FRT-flanked selection cassette was then removed by Flpe recombinase mediated excision leaving the loxP sites in introns 2 and 6 intact. (J:164059)
