A transgenic construct was created with the Tlx2 promoter/enhancer (fragment from -3003 bp upstream to the start of translation) driving the coding sequence of cre recombinase. Mice were generated by pronuclear injection. No line numbers were designated for founders in the reference. Expression of the transgene recapitulates expression of the Tlx2-LacZ transgene, although some cre activity is observed in extraembryonic mesoderm. (J:160214)
