The first 434 coding base pairs of the single exon with a 5' loxP site was followed by SV40 PolyA signal with a downstream loxP site, and followed by a PGK neomycin selection cassette. Homozygous mice showed significantly reduced mRNA levels in mammary glands, although no apparent developmental or functional differences were observed. (J:159517)
