Tg(Flt4-cre)44Ichi

A cDNA encoding nlscre was inserted after 7 kb fragment of the Flt4 (Vegfr3) gene promoter region from the BAC RPC123-118J11 in the targeting vector. The cre sequence was followed by a polyA signal sequence from the murine Pgk gene. This vector was purified and injected into pronuclei of fertilized C57BL/6J mice. Line 44 showed recombination in lymphatic endothelial cells when crossed to reporter mice. (J:159024)
