A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and an frt flanked neo cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 1. Western blot analysis confirmed a 76% reduction in protein expression in the lungs of E18.5 homozygous mice. This is a hypomorphic allele. (J:158668)
