Tg(Prrx1-cre)98Mlgn

This transgene expresses cre recombinase under the control of a Prrx1-derived enhancer. This transgene is expressed in the early limb bud mesenchyme and in a subset of craniofacial mesenchyme. Cre activity in the limbs is detected at slightly later stages (E8.5-E9.0) than that reported for the original Tg(Prrx1-cre)1Cjt line. (J:157917)
