A BAC was modifed to insert a silent mutation in exon 10 to act as a tag (G -> A). A second modification removed 34.5 kb of the Tsc2 gene from the BAC. Three lines were created (lines 6, 18, and 26) with 2 to 15 copies of the transgene (2, 6, and 15, respectively). (J:157952)
