An frt and loxP flanked neo cassette was inserted upsteam of exon 1 and an additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving exons 1 through 3 floxed. Reduced protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on splenocyte extracts. (J:157740)
