The coding exon of MrgprA1 was replaced with a self-excising neo cassette followed by a reverse tetracycline transactivator (rtTA), IRES sequence, and farnesylated EGFP. The coding exon was of MrgprB4 was replaced with a a hygro cassette, loxP site, and human placenta alkaline phosphatase coding sequence. Cre mediated recombination deletes the 845 kb sequence between the two targeted genes, which contains MrgprA10, A2, A14, A3, A12, A16, A19, A4, C11, B5, and 18 other genes. (J:157470)
