Gpr17^{tm1(KOMP)Vlcg}

The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 1033bp between positions 32080026-32081058 of Chromosome 18 (Build GRCm39). The Gpr17 gene is nested inside Lims2 in the reverse strand such that its single coding exon is fully contained in the long intron 4 of Lims2. The lacZ and floxed neomycin selection cassette were inserted in frame after Gpr17's ATG without deleting any exons from Lims2. No Gpr17 mRNA was detected in the hypothalamus of homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:219560)
