The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 21037bp between positions 127447671-127468707 of Chromosome 6 (Build GRCm39). This insertion results in the removal of coding exons 4-8 and allows expression of the reporter gene beta-galactosidase under the control of the endogenous promoter. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis of total RNA confirmed the absence of transcripts in kidney, brain, lung and testis tissues from homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:221906)
