The coding region in exon 2 was replaced with an FRT flanked neo cassette and an inverted coding region flanked by loxP sites in reverse orientation. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination is required to re-establish endogenous expression. (J:155473)
