Mice with this transgene express Cre recombinase under the control of the promoter of the mouse calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II gene. The transgene also contains an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) and a transcription-optimized tetracycline transactivator gene ("tTAk"), whose expression has not been reported. (J:104881)
