A stop codon was introduced into exon 3a preventing the production of the A transcript. A floxed neo cassette was inserted upstream of the modified exon 3a. Exons 4 through 6 and part of 7 were deleted, preventing the production of the C splice variant. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of isoforms A and C. (J:154144, J:166959)
