The pre-Mir124a genomic sequence was PCR-amplified and inserted into a plasmid vector. The protamine1 (Prm1) promoter was cloned in front of the Mir124a sequence and the resulting vector was linearized for injection into male pronuclei of fertilized oocytes. (J:153958)
