The last 68 bp of exon 6 and part of intron 6 was replaced with a PGK hygromycin B selection cassette. Northern blot analysis demonstrated only an abbreviated 1.6 kb mRNA. Western blot analysis failed to detect full lenght protein. A less than 30 kDa protein was found in kidneys but not elswhere. (J:107547)
