A 44 bp segment of the F10 fragment located in intron 5 of Mef2c and containing the FOX:ETS motif was used to direct expression of lacZ by the Hspa1b minimal promoter. Lac Z expression is specific to endothelial cells during early embryogenesis. Enhancer activity is extinguished after E10.5. (J:152218)
