A C-terminal Flag-tagged version of the human gene was cloned with the addition of a 5' Kozak sequence into a transgene vector driven by the human apoE gene promoter and its hepatic control region for specific liver tissue expression. Functional expression of the transgene was determined by blood ghrelin immunoprecipitation matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization-time-of-flight mass spectometry analyses. (J:151420)
