The gene trap vector FlipROSAbgeo0 vector inserted within the second intron at position 7957 of the gene. Western blot analysis on extracts from E9.5 embryos confirmed the loss of wild type encoded protein in homozygous mutant mice. A chimeric protein with beta-galactosidase activity is expressed from this allele. (J:226960)
