Most of the open reading frame was replaced with a cassette containing EGFP, cre, and frt flanked neo that was inserted out of frame with the initiation site. The inserted cassette replaced amino acids 20 through 315 of the total 321 amino acids of the endogenous protein. Germ line, flp mediated recombination removes the neo cassette. (J:150802)
