The nls-iCre ORF was introduced into the mouse dopamine transporter gene (Slc6a3) within the RP24408F13 BAC by homologous recombination in bacteria. A 177 kb DNA-fragment was injected into FVB/N oocytes. Two lines were generated. (J:129459, J:150544)
