A genomic fragment including exons 1 and 2 was replaced with a neo cassette via homologous recombination. Northern blot analysis confirmed the absence of RNA expression in testis from homozygous mice. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in the testis, ovary, adrenal gland, and brain from homozygous mice. (J:150391)
