Cul4a^tm1.2Pz

Mice containing the allele Cul4atm1.1Pz were crossed with Ella-cre transgenic mice to excise the floxed exons 17-19 from germline cells. A C-terminal truncated protein was detected at 8% of endogenous levels in homozygote embryonic fibroblasts by immunoblot analysis. This protein product failed to interact with RBX1 for recruitment of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme and thus was considered functionally null. (J:150427)
